What more would you like to learn?

I would like to learn about computer viruses as how to prevent catching one and what to do when my computer became infected with. I used to think it was actually a "virus" like same as the cold virus and not only computers, but so as people could get infected with them. I was totally wrong about this idea, but still i do not know much about them. I think computers and the internet can be a lot safer and more usefull, if I was aware of those risks about computer viruses.

Computer Terms: Viral Video

Viral Video is the video clip content which gets widespread and popular on the internet by sharing them trough e-mails, blogs and media sharing websites. You-Tube seems the most popular media sharing website and we can find lots of viral videos. I used to watch lonely girl15 on you-tube and i really liked those videos even though they were all fictional stories. Umm, anyway I found this website called viralx.com and it introduces all the funny sorts of viral videos. This one was my favouritehttp://www.funnyplace.org/video.php?id=3655 it was a real funny one!!:)

Computer gifts you would buy for friends & family

←It is not just a miniature baseball cap. Guess what!? Itz an optical mouse for the computers!! It looks like a toy and it is pretty simple, but no worries!:) It has got all you need; right-click button, left-click button and a scroll wheel in the middle. My brother is a big fan of Matsui and NY Yankees, so he would definitely love this little computer device.

← Let my dad press this key, and save him from getting a real panic!! It is a real key, has got double-sided tape on its back. He can easily stick it onto any keyboard he likes. My dad looks all stressed out and exhausted from his works. This "PANIC" key might bring a better relief than a cup of coffee when his brains got shut down.

Computer Terms: What Is "Net Neutrality"?

Net Neutrality is the principle of the equal access to the internet. It is the rule to make it fair for everybody to get access to the internet or run some applications. Under this rule, no matter who you are, even if you were George Bush, or Mr. Abe, you are supposed to get the same speed and quality access to the net. However some phone and cable companies now are ignoring the net neutrality and competing to locking down some web and making some applications and sites slow down. These companies want to make their search engine or the services higher quality and faster than the others’ so users would choose the company and pay for it. This is a serious problem because without the principle internet users may have to experience discriminations such as not being able to run some applications or devices, and taking for ages to get access to some web sites. Internet should be free and open for anybody, so we can not let some evil companies to get rid of net neutrality and save us from the internet risks!
Here is the website

It has got a cool animation about this issue and help u with understand a lot more about it!!

☆☆My favoutite 3 web sites☆☆

Check out http://www.showtime.jp/korea/ if you want to know anything about Korean drama and Korean movies! It contains lots of good stuff to help me with choosing which one to watch and buy, including the summary of the story and the biography of the actors. I like this site because i can get to watch the first part of the drama which i choose for free and if i like it, i can buy the whole story on the website. However they are too expensive to buy so i've never bought one. I just enjoy the free part:)
Here is my another favourite site→http://www.shibuya109.jp/ It is a cool site because i can check the new collections from all the shops in 109 with photos and details of the material so they help me a lot to decide what to buy, and to know what the trends are. If i check this site before i go shopping to 109 and get some information, i do not have to spend a day wandering around.
When i play games i go here →http://www.hangame.co.jp/ There are lots and lots of games for free. I like it because when i log in, i can always find some of my Korean friends there and we can chat. I dont know about Japanese guys, but all of my Korean friends love this site. I like the card game the best! This site also has got lots of cute animations.

The Recent Computer News!

On 30 January, 2007, Windows Vista finally came on sale to the general public all over the world. Vista is the latest version released by Microsoft Windows. Microsoft says Windows Vista has got about 100 new features. The most significant and visible change is its new 3D GUI. The new graphical user interface called Windows Aero. It looks so much cooler and clearer than those previous ones because it has got many animations and the translucency effects. I play a lot of games on computers so I am rather excited about the 4 new games which include chess and mahjong boards on Windows Vista! Although it has been only about a few weeks from the release, I heard from my Korean friend that the pirated versions of Vista have been in circulation for several months now. This is pretty sad.:(:( People, Piracy is crime”!

Computer Terms: What Is "Social Engineering"?

Social engineering is the word used in computer security, it is often tricking people to gain personal information e.g., account number, password, social security number, etc., to access illegally to the computer network and break the normal security procedures. Its ways rely heavily on human interaction therefore the hackers need to act or perform to deceive people that they are for real and not the hackers. For example, there is one way to call the customer-support center and ask for changing the target’s user passwords. He would mumble when he is not sure about the information, and pretend that his jaw has just got a surgery, and goes, “ Could you please repeat what I have just said to make sure you got them right? “ to get further tips.

What I Know about the Mac

When I think of the Mac, the first thing that comes up to my mind would be the phrase “No music, No life.” I am not sure how they get connected, but I guess it is because the Mac reminds me of iTunes and iPods straight away. I love all the apple stuff because they are so stylish and clever. I kind of know that the Mac is good for editing and composing music and all the artistic things like graphic designs and drafting. And I think the every simple detail on the Mac is also well-designed and they appeal to our visual senses. I love the icons; they are soooo cute! When I move the cursor over the icons, they get bigger and look like they popping up or bouncing.

What I Want to Learn about Computers

The very first thing that I really would like to learn is how to use computers to make it a helpful and important device. Actually I did not really use computer at home before, because I could turn my hand-writing papers in to teachers at high school and I thought I did not need one. However now I am forced to use one in any occasions and it will be an essential item on business. Therefore I really would like to get used to using computers and want to know how to make them my best partner for life. Also I would like to learn about Power Point because I think it would be a very useful program for the future. If I learnt how to make a presentation at school, I probably will not have to have troubles when I give one on business or even I could try for the higher quality presentations with using some variations
